Sikri Academy was founded in 2013 with a simple but powerful vision: to give every child in Oyugis access to world-class education in a nurturing, Christ-centred environment. Over the years, we have grown into one of the most trusted junior academies in Homa Bay County, now home to 500+ learners who are academically equipped, morally grounded, and ready to contribute meaningfully to Kenya's future. We follow Kenya's Competency Based Curriculum (CBC), blending local relevance with global standards.
A Vision Born in 2013
2013 — Founded. Opened with 80 learners and a clear mission to transform education in Oyugis, Homa Bay County.
2016 — First Major Expansion. New classrooms, a science lab, and a computer room added to accommodate growing enrolment.
2019 — CBC Transition. Fully transitioned to the Competency Based Curriculum ahead of the national rollout.
2023 — 10-Year Milestone. 500+ learners enrolled; a decade of academic excellence and transformational education.
